GloFish® Long-Fin Tetras

GloFish® Long-Fin Tetras are an eye-catching addition to any aquarium, thanks to their genetic modification, which results in a wide range of vivid colors. These tetras are based on the White Skirt Tetra (Gymnocorymbus ternetzi) species and make a stunning display when kept in a school.

Appearance:
GloFish® Long-Fin Tetras displays a variety of fluorescent colors, such as red, green, blue, purple, and orange. Their body shape is similar to that of the standard White Skirt Tetra, and their colors become more vibrant under blue or ultraviolet light.

Tank Habitat and Care:
GloFish® Long-Fin Tetras prefer well-planted tanks with ample hiding spots and a moderate water flow. A dark substrate and background can help showcase their colors. The tank should have a heater, filter, and special blue or ultraviolet light to enhance their fluorescence. Regular water changes and monitoring water parameters are vital to maintaining their health.

Diet:
As omnivores, GloFish® Long-Fin Tetras accept high-quality flake or pellet foods and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia.
